The Wildflower Kimono is now available and comes in sizes NB through ladies' 3X...all in one pattern! This is such a fun, quick sew and extremely versatile! You can dress it up by using rayon, silk or chiffon, use soft knits to wear out or snuggle up at home, sweater knits to wear around the campfire, or french terry for a swim suit cover up. Create it with one fabric or piece it together with multiple fabrics for added interest. Add sleeve cuffs or just let the sleeves flow.
The long awaited Women's Soho Maxi is now available! So many amazing tester versions and the adorable mommy and me dresses! Plus a coupon code for release at the end of the post!
When Girl Charlee came out with their awesome pineapple fabric, I knew it would be perfect for Coachella Shorts! Since I decided to go with the pineapple denim I wanted the shorts to be a closer fit than all my other Coachella Shorts. The Women's Coachella Shorts were originally drafted to be more of a relaxed fit, which works great with knit and other fabrics with good drape. So I went ahead and just sized down for the denim and they fit great!
The Wanderer Tunic options are seriously endless and great for every season! I'm gearing up for summer here at the beach and will only be wearing sleeveless shirts starting...yesterday! So of course the Wanderer needed to be adapted to include this version as well to get us through the hot summer months that are fast approaching. Click continue reading below for the tutorial.
Wow the response to the Wanderer Tunic has been overwhelming! I'm truly so grateful for all the wonderful testers that helped make this pattern fantastic! I designed this pattern with the double banded, 3/4 length sleeves in mind, eventually adding long and short options. I had no idea though when I sent it off to testing that I would eventually end up with 10 sleeve options in this pattern. My testers did such an amazing job of using their creativeness to make each one of their tops truly unique. I love them all!! Get ready for a picture overload....
I'm feeling quite accomplished this week -- I've already finished Harbor's Easter skirt! I'm always the one to procrastinate until just a few hours before an outfit is needed to get it done. Not this time though! Thanks to the pattern swap I signed up for last month, I was able to get ahead on a holiday outfit, yay! The pattern swap is going on all this week, so make sure to check out the other blogs at the end of this post.
The Wanderer Tunic is so close to be ready! I'm looking for several testers that will be able to help me test soon!
Testing will begin Friday, January 16th and run through Tuesday, January 20th.
Harbor's first dance performance -- CUTEST and funniest thing I've ever seen!
I'm so excited to share with you all my daughter's Elsa inspired Soho Maxi! Harbor had her first ballet performance a few weeks ago and it made my year (be sure to catch the video at the end of this post)!
Testing is just too much fun! I get so excited every time I receive a notification during testing...hoping it's another tester posting their awesomeness! I'm part of so many sewing groups and I can see the same pattern sewn by a thousand different people and it still amazes me every. single. time. It's so thrilling to see designs in a new light, with different fabrics and personal touches on it...I LOVE it!
