I've always loved crochet appliques, but could never find a could source to purchase them or never came across the perfect pattern... Then one of my sweet sewing friends, Savanna, made her daughter a Desert Breeze with one during the girls' testing and I fell hard!
So I might have an obsession with the Desert Breeze, I'm up to 8 in my closet right now and probably need a few more!! Today I will be showing you how to make the cami with a shelf bra. You'll need the Women's Desert Breeze pattern and also the Slim Fit Add-on to make the DB cami.
The Desert Breeze was designed for knits, but did you know it sews up beautifully in woven fabrics too?! There are a few options that do not require any modifications and some that of course need to be adjusted to account for having zero stretch to the fabric. I will go over each option of the pattern and walk you through the modifications (if needed) to sew the pattern with non-stretch fabrics.
