The Soho Maxi Pattern is almost ready for testing! I'm looking for several testers that will be able to help me test this next week.
Testing will begin Thursday, October 23rd and run through Wednesday, October 29th.
I'll be honest with you...I hardly ever sew for myself -- ok, like pretty much never! Ever since my sweet little girl was born 3 years ago, I have been strictly sewing for her, my niece and my Etsy shop. Of course I do have quite a few Coachella Shorts in my closet now, but that's about it as far as handmade clothing goes. Nothing has really sparked my interest where I said "I HAVE to make that for myself"...until I saw Kimberly, of Straight Stitch Designs, post the tester call for her Ravenna Top.
The Women's Coachella Shorts were released just over a week ago. Yes, I know...I'm a little late on posting the tester round-up! For those of you that don't know...I also have a shop on Etsy, The Striped Swallow, where I make and sell custom birthday outfits. Keeping up with orders and sewing a bazillion Disney outfits has kept me a little preoccupied this last week. (We are headed to Walt Disney World next month to celebrate Harbor's 3rd Birthday and I might be a little ecstatic!)
Here we go again! I'm looking for several awesome ladies to help me test the women's version of the Coachella Shorts next week.
Testing will begin August 5th and run through August 9th.
Wow! I still can't believe I launched my first pattern last week. I wanted to share with you all the fantastic tester photos.

They were all so supportive and Lauren's course gave me all the tools I needed to make my design come to life. I have to admit the testing phase was a blast and not as terrifying as I once had thought it would be! One of the most exciting moments of testing (one which I will never forget) was when I received Sophie's email after sending out the pattern. Her Coachella Shorts were the first pair to show up in my inbox and it was such an amazing feeling!
Current emotions: Inspired, Excited, Nervous, Anxious and VERY grateful. I’m about to put my heart and soul and creative passions {and sleepless nights} out there for the world to test, to critique… and then maybe, HOPEFULLY to rely on.
