Wow! I still can't believe I launched my first pattern last week. I wanted to share with you all the fantastic tester photos.
A HUGE thank you goes out to all my amazing testers and to Lauren Dahl of Pattern Workshop. They were all so supportive and Lauren's course gave me all the tools I needed to make my design come to life. If you are interested in designing your own patterns, go check out Pattern Workshop (I can not say enough wonderful things about this course)!!
I have to admit the testing phase was a blast and not as terrifying as I once had thought it would be! One of the most exciting moments of testing (one which I will never forget) was when I received Sophie's email after sending out the pattern. Her Coachella Shorts were the first pair to show up in my inbox and it was such an amazing feeling!
It has truly been so wonderful to see all the beautiful shorts the ladies created. If you create a pair of Coachella Shorts don't forget to post on FB or IG and tag with #coachellashorts.
Jill (AimerLae & Finn) - Check out her adorable pattern that was just released today!
The Coachella Shorts were fine-tuned during testing and a bit more ease and length were added to the final pattern. Instructions have also been included in the pattern for making adjustments to the width and length in case the little one's measurements you are sewing for doesn't fall perfectly into one size.
Comments will be approved before showing up.
Independence Day is right around the corner, and so with it comes Wild + Wanderful's Sew Americana Blog Tour! I follow this tour every year, so I'm really excited to be participating in it for the first time.
Nothing says "summer sewing" over here at SSD quite like the Emerie Romper, and wheI think Americana, I think of the peace and love, tie-dye vibe of the 70s. As it turns out, I happen to be a big lover of dying things.
