Women's Wanderer Tunic - Tester Round-Up

The Women's Wanderer is finally here!! My first women's top and oh boy was that a big learning curve! So much different than drafting for girls :) My testers were so helpful (as always!) and helped me get the perfect fit. The pattern did have a couple changes during testing (some photos in the tester round-up are of the first version tested) I will note under the photo if the tunic shown is the final version.

Cotton + Steel with lace yoke *I measure a size small in the upper chest per the size chart and this is a medium on me
Girl Charlee knit with linen yoke *final size small, but with hips graded out two sizes to give the tunic more flow

When I heard Week 3's theme -- Sound of Fashion -- it immediately took me back to a memory of dancing under blue skies with my girls at a music festival. Their carefree movements that day re-inspired me to go with the flow and to live life to the fullest. Drawing on that inspiration and my family's love for indie music -- rock, reggae and folk -- it was only fitting I created a pair of flowy festival designs with a bohemian vibe for my look.

I'm going to be real honest...when I heard the theme for Week 2 -- Super Hero and Heroines, I freaked out a little. It is sooo out of my realm! I immediately started brainstorming though and was so relieved within a couple hours I had a plan. And then of course didn't sleep well that night because I was working out all the details in my head. I love those full force, creative moments even if it means I don't get much sleep!

Week 1 of Project Run and Play is finally here and I'm so excited!! The theme this week -- Home Sweet Home -- it's all about home and what makes your home the best. We live in Panama City Beach on Florida's gorgeous Emerald Coast. So this week was a given that we would head to our favorite place about a mile from our house and dip our toes in the sugar white sand.
